Grace was born in Yellowknife, Canada, in the Northwest Territories, but grew up in Laguna Beach, California.  She was influenced by the seaside community of artists and family members who are artists.  She has traveled extensively throughout India, Asia, and Mexico, absorbing the different cultures into her own creativity.  Her studio is now located on the North Shore of Oahu in the Hawaiian Islands.

Grace began working with paper in 1986.  Her primary passion is exploring texture and color in the field of art.  For Grace, paper is a forgiving medium and renders to soft shapes and forms.  Her artistic flair transforms the appearance of paper into the luster of metal, or the texture of raku ceramic.  She has created this illusion with her harmonious blend of color and design, bringing to life her unique wall hangings.  Grace is also the creator of PaperLight Studios.

The pieces currently being created are assemblages of various papers, found natural items, glass, pottery shards, composition leafing and various paints, inks and dyes.  Pieces can be made to any dimension necessary.
